• Provide a filter for HR & Training Managers to identify priority needs for personnel to be trained
• Be used as part of the selection/recruitment process to validate individuals claims of competence (if appropriate)
• Provide an ongoing review of performance once an initial baseline assessment has been undertaken
• Allow for post training reviews to demonstrate quantitative ROI, provided an initial assessment has been taken

When a management report is produced (individual reports can be analysed as a group) areas where there may be gaps are then identified for management action.
